What do the access levels mean?
Field An engineer out on jobs. Sees their own jobs, timesheet, van check and documents — no admin controls or other people's data.
Office Office staff. Can use the boards and pages their ticked permissions allow (e.g. Sites, SLA, Holiday), but can't manage other users or system settings.
Admin Office staff who also hold one or more admin permissions (Users, SLA Admin, Holiday admin, Device admin, Timesheet admin, P&E admin or Projects admin) — they manage that area for everyone.
Full access The master switch — sees and controls everything (every permission is on). Reserved for owners/managers.
The badge shows a person's highest level. Change it per person with Field/Office (the Type toggle when editing) and the individual permission switches on the Permissions tab.

⚡ Apply a standard role

One tap sets this person's permissions and staff type to a standard role — fine-tune the switches below afterwards.

Loading roles…

🏠 Responsible for (home dashboard)

Tick the areas this person is responsible for. Their home page shows only these — a clean, focused summary of what they need to watch. Leave all unticked to show every area they have permission for. They also need the matching permission below for an area's data to load.

📋 Compliance access (per page)

Set what this person can do on each compliance chart. None hides the page from them; View = see the chart & open certificates; Download = also save/export the files; Edit = upload & manage documents and dates. (Full-access users always get Edit on every page.)

Registered devices for this person. Removing one lets them re-register on their next login (use this to move someone to a new phone).

Turn on Office clock for the office computer(s) where this person should see the clock in/out timer on the main menu. Leave it off for phones and home devices. (They also need the Office clock in/out permission.)

Minimum 8 characters, with at least one letter and one number.

Removing this person

When someone leaves, use Block (bottom-left). It ends their access, sessions and POs but keeps their account, documents and history — you can still view their files under My Documents and their activity under Activity Log by ticking “Show former staff”. It's fully reversible.

Permanently erase this account…

Only for test or duplicate accounts. This removes the account, login, sessions and devices, and you'll lose the way to reach their documents and history from the portal. Can't be undone.
